Pre-Veterinary Medical Association

Welcome to the Pre Veterinary Medical Association! We welcome members of any major with an interest in animals. Throughout the year we provide educational information concerning different careers in animal science, veterinary medicine and graduate school programs. Our objectives are to acquaint students with per-veterinary medicine studies and with the medical profession, promote interest in the science of veterinary medicine, create a sense of unity and friendship, promote student self engagement, encourage student scholarship, service, and community awareness, provide opportunity and guidance concerning admissions to schools and colleges of veterinary medicine, and provide opportunity to connect with veterinary medicine mentors.

The objectives of this organization are to:

1. Acquaint students with per-veterinary studies and with the veterinary medical profession.
2. Promote interest in the science of veterinary medicine.
3. Create a sense of unity and friendship among members.
4. Encourage scholarship, service, and community awareness.
5. Serve as a means of communication between students.
6. Provide guidance concerning admissions to schools of veterinary medicine.
7. Provide information concerning campuses, facilities, etc. of veterinary schools.
